J&J Crump now has its own energy advice training manual with key information on a range of topics in an easy to access form. The manual will be given to every member of the Customer Care team upon completion of training, and will enable them to answer most questions put by customers. The training will also provide an unprecedented level of understanding of the key issues that drive what we do, such as fuel poverty, health and housing, carbon reduction and energy survey methods.
Customer care staff will be able provide an unprecedented level of support to our customers. They will be able to advise on switching energy supplier, what energy efficiency measures are available, which heating systems and fuels are the least expensive, and how to complain to their energy supplier. They will also be able to make referrals to a number of agencies, including the Home Heat Helpline, the national energy advice line (for Green Deal enquiries), energy company trust funds and many others.
Now that the training manual is complete we expect training to commence in mid-May.
